Open your heart and home to a child in care

Could you or somebody you know help build a brighter future for Essex children?
More foster carers are needed to provide loving, safe and stable homes to support the most vulnerable children in our county grow in confidence and achieve their potential.

You Don’t need any specific qualifications to foster, just patience, time and a commitment to improving children’s lives. Hear from foster carer, Daniella, who fosters with her husband and two small children or Debbie who started fostering once her children grew up.

“I would encourage everyone to consider fostering. Just go for it. We were so nervous and terrified. What might the girls think? Will they like us? How will it change our lifestyle? But it’s been absolutely amazing. We’re loving every minute.” says Annette, Foster carer

We best match children to your family. Training is local, support is 24/7 and your family could receive up to £483 per child, per week.

To find out more visit our website, call them 0800 801 530 or pop along to an informal information event to find out more, ask questions and speak with foster carers.

FLOODING

Sunday 7th January 2024

The flooding at Bowyers Bridge (Mill End) has subsided and the road is passable by vehicles. The emergency access route through the quarry is now closed.

Be aware that there still remains serious flooding throughput the area and care should be taken, particularly on the more rural routes.

Thank you to everyone for your understanding and patience over the past three days.
