The new Face to Face service from Citizens Advice

Since the start of the pandemic, Uttlesford Citizens Advice has continued to offer free, confidential advice to the same high standard, but via the telephone and email, rather than face to face.
All that has now changed in Great Dunmow.
Citizens Advice have partnered with Great Dunmow library to offer a video link service from the heart of the town. You don’t need any technical skills - just touch the screen and via the magic of the internet, you will be connected to a ‘real-life’ adviser, who can help you manage problems related to benefits, money, employment, housing, consumer issues, relationships and more.  There is even a scanner and printer connected to the screen to help with sharing documents.
You don’t need to make an appointment - just drop into the library to use the new service on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Ask any questions you may have, and the adviser will offer advice and refer you to other services just as they would during a face-to-face appointment.
