Battle’s Over Tribute – 11th November 2018

On 11th November 2018, the United Kingdom will mark the day 100 years ago when the guns fell silent at the end of the First World War.

The “Battle’s Over” tribute is a series of events to remember the sacrifice of millions of men and women and will involve organisations and communities the length and breadth of our nation and in many countries abroad.

At 7.00pm on the 11th of November, more than 1,000 Beacons of Light will be lit throughout the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and UK Overseas Territories, with the first of these Beacons being lit at Westminster Abbey.

Little Easton will be participating in the tribute which will involve the lighting of the Little Easton beacon at 7.00pm on Sunday 11th November. The event is an opportunity to pay your personal and community tribute to those millions that gave their lives for their country.

We will be gathering at the Little Easton Village Hall from about 6.30pm. Please see below for full details and timings
